Northern Nova United announced today its plan to hold a kick-off event on May 7th from 6-7pm at the Nova Scotia Community College in Stellarton.
All players, coaches, parents, and supporters are invited to come and listen to the club's long term strategic plan, as well as what is new and exciting for this coming season.
"This is the first time that a major sport has done something like this where all players and their parents can be in one room and listen to one message", said club president Korey Avery. "We are very excited to be able to offer this opportunity for our members to hear our strategic vision, and take the time to speak with our executive on the issues that matter most to them."
The event will include a presentation on the club, music, a photo booth, healthy snacks, and games for the kids. There will also be a door prize of one free registration, and all players that come to the event will be eligible to win. The club will also be selling t-shirts and scarves for those who want to put their Falcon pride on display.
"We are really looking forward to bringing the entire club under one roof, and talking about the exciting things that we have planned for the 2014 season," remarked Avery.
